UKVIA launches “Be Vape Vigilant” campaign: report illegal vaping device dealers
The UK vaping industry association (UKVIA) has launched a new campaign called “Be Vape Vigilant.”
The initiative calls on consumers, vaping professionals, and the public to report illegal sales of vaping devices.
Unfortunately, vaping products are still ending up in the hands of people under 18. All reputable shops check ID, but somehow children are still able to get them.
This has had a negative impact on the entire vaping industry — we have all heard people complain that “all kids are using vapes.”
The problem with counterfeit products is that their ingredients or components may be dangerous, so we need to make sure these products do not end up in the hands of the public.
Therefore, now is the time for everyone to step forward and try to stop this from happening.
UKVIA said: “The only way to stop youth smoking is to tackle the root cause of the problem — rogue traders.”
