East Singhbhum District in India to Launch Anti-Tobacco Campaigns in Education Centers

The East Singhbhum district administration will promote anti-tobacco awareness education activities in schools to prevent students from smoking. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Manjunath Bhajettri instructed the district education department to organize key promotional activities in schools to educate students in the vulnerable age group.
Bhajettri stated at a meeting held on Tuesday: "Especially for students aged 9 and above, exposure to smoking could lead to serious health issues in the future." The meeting aimed to review the implementation of the National Tobacco Control Program (NTCP).
