KT&G Receives ‘Family-Friendly Company’ Certification Again

South Korea's KT&G has received the "Family-Friendly Company" certification for its commitment to creating a work-life balance for employees and implementing various supportive measures.

According to local media Weekly Today on December 20, KT&G is receiving the "Family-Friendly Company" certification from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family due to its efforts to support employees in balancing work and family.

The "Family-Friendly Company" certification is evaluated by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, assessing whether companies and public institutions have effectively implemented family-friendly cultures and related mechanisms. KT&G first received the "Family-Friendly Company" certification in 2015 and was selected as an excellent family-friendly company in 2018, receiving recognition from the Prime Minister.
