Rumor says RELX may abandon its sixth-generation Zeus series

Yesterday, I specially went to a nearby RELX retail store for the third time to reserve and pick up 13 boxes of Zeus Green Fan Yingying pods (buy 10 get 3 free), and I also swapped the pink Phantom Pro I had originally bought for a white one!

Now, counting what I had left before, plus about 14 different collected flavors and styles from Qingyu/Phantom/Phantom Power/Zeus, I have around 55 boxes of pods in total!

I think it’s time to stop fussing around and just enjoy them for a while!

By the way, it’s worth mentioning that a friend familiar with RELX’s sales circle previously told me some industry gossip — that RELX had already abandoned the Zeus series and stopped production of its device, its only pod flavor (Green Fan Yingying), and related accessories... (Rumor has it the reason was that Zeus user repurchase rates were not ideal, it was considered too niche, and the company felt it was not profitable enough, so they planned to discontinue it.)

But not long after that, there was a complete reversal, and the rumor was disproven! (It had me feeling depressed for quite a while, and that’s why I rushed out to stock up on pods.)

It now looks like RELX plans to release three new products next:

1. Phantom device — Chiyan Yun: limited release

2. Zeus new pod flavors — Leili / Fuliu Feng, 2-pack, 3ml per pod

3. Qingyu device — Jiaren Jiaqi (the name is a bit... hard to make sense of)
