South Korea holds anti-smoking creativity contest, 51 outstanding works exhibited

The Busan Education Bureau held the award ceremony for the "Smoke-Free Story Smoking Prevention Creativity Contest," receiving a total of 630 entries, with 51 selected as outstanding works.

According to Naver on October 22, the Busan Education Bureau held the award ceremony for the "We Create a Smoke-Free Story Smoking Prevention Creativity Contest" at the Busan Student Education and Cultural Center. 

The purpose of this contest is to create a smoke-free and healthy school environment for students, faculty, parents, and youth outside of school, receiving a total of 630 works in four categories: posters, web comics, cartoons, and public service advertisements.

The works of 14 outstanding teams were presented at the award ceremony, adding profound significance to the contest. Meanwhile, 51 outstanding works were exhibited at the Student Education and Cultural Center to remind students of the dangers of tobacco. Park Jihoon, the Director of Educational Policy at the Busan Education Bureau, stated that this contest will be a great opportunity to promote smoking prevention and smoke-free culture from schools to communities, and they will continue to do their utmost to ensure that young people stay away from tobacco and grow up healthy.
