Key process for ceramic atomizer cores: thick-film printing technology
Ceramic atomizer cores are chips made from ceramic materials, featuring stable atomization effects and wear resistance, widely used in e-cigarettes, automotive nozzles, the pharmaceutical industry, and other fields.
They consist of parts such as ceramic, thermal conductive layer, resistance layer, and electrodes, which generate atomization effects through heating the resistance. However, if the temperature is unstable or unevenly distributed, issues such as localized overheating and insufficient atomization can occur. To ensure stable atomization effects, the processing of the heating wire needs to be more refined and customized. Currently, a common method is to achieve ceramic metallization through thick-film printing technology, thus producing porous ceramic atomizer cores that heat quickly and stably.
For thick-film printing of ceramic atomizer cores, Jianyu Screen Printing has very mature process technology and solutions. As early as 2018, they developed a dedicated thick-film printing machine for atomizer cores: JY-IC-200DK, which has gained trust and recognition from many companies in the industry. Since its launch, sales have reached over a hundred units. The printing effect is stable, with a resistance deviation of ±5%, heating up in one second to reach the preset temperature, thus achieving rapid atomization. Below is a brief description of the thick-film printing process for atomizer cores (e-cigarettes) for reference.
Printing Process
1. The product printing surface must be flat and uniform (three layers of printing are recommended).
2. The screen requirements are as shown in the figure below (for reference only).

3. Printing environment: Clean workshop, indoor temperature between 22-26 degrees, relative humidity around 65%.
4. Printing parameters: Screen distance 1.4MM, printing pressure 1KG, printing speed 60, ink return speed 80.
5. Drying: Complete printing requires drying at 150 degrees for half an hour.
6. Sintering: Requires a vacuum sintering furnace with a vacuum degree below 10 Pa.
Sintering Process
Heat to 350℃ in 30 minutes and hold for 30 minutes → continue heating to 600℃ in 30 minutes and hold for 30 minutes → continue heating to 870℃ in 60 minutes, then hold for 30 minutes and cool down to room temperature naturally → vacuum degree below 10 Pa.
