JOKOO Breaks Through Industry Challenges with Smart Atomization Devices

Compared to many rushed brands that enter the market and sell e-cigarettes within months, JOKOO was established in January 2015 and has been deeply immersed in the e-cigarette industry for four years. The founder, Li Xiang, is a long-time smoker who, due to chronic pharyngitis, was advised by his doctor to quit smoking. Struggling to quit, he turned to e-cigarettes, which remarkably improved his pharyngitis. However, during this period, he discovered various pain points in the e-cigarette industry, such as lack of satisfaction, oil leakage, burnt coils, and lack of regulation, which led him to conceive the idea of creating a perfect pod system.
During the product development process, Li Xiang and his team overcame many difficulties. Due to an incomplete supply chain and immature technology, especially since manufacturers believed that pod systems had no market, many manufacturers were initially unwilling to take orders. It wasn't until the first generation of JOKOO pods was launched in January 2015 that he introduced the innovative concept of "one pod, vibration reminder," using the now-popular ceramic coil paired with 2ml of e-liquid. However, this design caused excessive carbon buildup in the pod after two-thirds of use, failing to address the industry pain point of burnt coils.
This was far from sufficient for JOKOO, which aimed to create a perfect pod system. After careful consideration, Li Xiang decided not to continue selling like other brands but to temporarily halt production. To protect the rights of distributors and consumers, he recalled all first-generation products supplied to distributors; for those already sold to consumers, he offered exchanges once the second-generation product was released. Subsequently, Li Xiang developed 3C products to sustain the team while continuing to engage with industry experts to refine and improve products and technology.
Finally, in 2018, the second-generation JOKOO product quietly launched, achieving over 770,000 in crowdfunding within days on JD.com, with users giving high overall ratings. “This vape is really good; I will only use JOKOO from now on,” praised a somewhat picky fan, “Mr. Tree,” who had previously made many requests before receiving the product.
A lot of thought went into the design of this second-generation pod system.
First, the oil leakage issue was addressed, which is the largest after-sales cost for manufacturers. JOKOO separated the e-liquid from the atomization core, allowing the e-liquid to flow down and contact the atomization core only when the user pulls the drawstring. This oil-core separation technology effectively controls the oil leakage to below 3%, ensuring that the e-liquid does not oxidize, thus preserving flavor and addressing storage and transportation issues.
Secondly, the burnt coil issue was tackled. The ceramic coil provides a delicate taste when first inhaled, but it cannot change the persistent problem of burnt coils. Using organic cotton allows for faster oil absorption and less vapor residue, making it less likely to burn the coil. The structure of the ceramic coil consists of many irregular holes, and as the ceramic coil operates, the natural extracts in the e-liquid turn into carbon in these small holes. The longer it operates, the more carbon accumulates, leading to a burnt taste when inhaled.
Lastly, formaldehyde production was avoided. If 2ml of e-liquid is used, excessive carbon buildup occurs after the user consumes two-thirds, easily burning the coil and releasing harmful substances like formaldehyde. As a socially responsible company, JOKOO adjusted the e-liquid volume to 1.35ml to prevent users from reaching the two-thirds mark, effectively reducing the production of harmful substances like formaldehyde.
All e-liquids selected for the second-generation JOKOO e-cigarette have been tested and certified by authoritative monitoring agencies such as the U.S. FDA, EU CE, and the Guangdong Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. Additionally, to help smokers control their intake and avoid excessive nicotine consumption, JOKOO has specially designed a smart vibration reminder function, which vibrates after every nine puffs, reminding users of the nicotine amount equivalent to a full cigarette, guiding them towards a healthier lifestyle.
12 Major Policies to Fully Support and Recruit Regional Agents for Win-Win Retail Cooperation
Currently, JOKOO has developed a comprehensive online and offline marketing network across the country, recruiting regional distributors and agents. JOKOO understands that for any cooperation to be sustainable, it must achieve mutual benefits. Therefore, in addition to ensuring maximum profit margins for agents, exclusive agency rights and regional protection are also provided. For the first batch of orders, distributors can receive refunds for unsold products within three months, truly protecting their rights. New distributors can also receive 5% of trial products for market promotion, along with support in materials, online store traffic, terminal channels, advertising, marketing training, and after-sales service, among 12 policy supports. The founder of JOKOO stated that they will work with distributors to strengthen the JOKOO brand, aiming for international expansion and becoming a benchmark enterprise in the industry.
