Recently, a study funded by Cancer Research UK has shown that the use of e-cigarettes significantly increases the success rate of smoking cessation among consumers.
The detailed data from the study indicates that those who used e-cigarettes as a means to quit smoking were about 95% more likely to succeed in quitting compared to those who attempted to quit without any smoking cessation aids.
This conclusion was drawn by researchers after collecting data from nearly 19,000 consumers in the UK from 2006 to 2018 over the past two years.
