Introduction: Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province—this city witnesses wealth creation through motorcycles. Li Wolin, the head of the marketing department of the Jiangmen Tobacco Monopoly Bureau (Company), has witnessed the deep bond between marketers and retail customers through motorcycles.

According to the Heated Tobacco Information Network: In "Motorcycle City"—Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, motorcycles can be seen everywhere in the streets and alleys. However, for Li Wolin, the head of the marketing department of the Jiangmen Tobacco Monopoly Bureau (Company), motorcycles hold a special significance: they not only witness the hard work of marketers but also the deep bond between marketers and retail customers.

Yang Jining: Witnessing the Development of Jiangmen Tobacco from a Motorcycle   Market manager Yang Jining has been engaged in cigarette marketing for over ten years. Reflecting on his experiences visiting retail customers on a motorcycle over the years, he feels very emotional: "Motorcycles play an important role in our work and life; they are the main means of transportation, my close companion, and a witness to the development of Jiangmen Tobacco."   Ten years ago, Yang Jining was still a "rookie" in the industry, assigned to work at a marketing outlet. At that time, marketers generally used motorcycles as transportation and delivery tools. "Back then, work was tough but fulfilling. If we encountered heavy rain or strong winds, delivering cigarettes by motorcycle was not so convenient; we had to brave the wind and rain to deliver cigarettes to customers on time. After filling out the orders, we had to rush back to input the data into the computer..." Yang Jining recalls the work scenes of those years with emotion, "Honestly, it was much harder than now, but seeing the joyful smiles of customers receiving their cigarettes on time and hearing their heartfelt thanks made it all worthwhile."   With the continuous development of Jiangmen Tobacco and improvements in logistics conditions, motorcycles gradually faded from the historical stage for delivery due to safety reasons. Meanwhile, Yang Jining has grown from a "rookie" to a key marketing personnel in Jiangmen Tobacco, but what remains unchanged is that motorcycles are still an important means of transportation in his work. "Having driven motorcycles for a long time, I have gotten used to it. Moreover, the traffic conditions in Jiangmen City are quite complex, and motorcycles have strong maneuverability, making customer visits more efficient," Yang Jining explains the reason and jokingly adds, "Jiangmen Tobacco will continue to develop, and our means of transportation will also continue to evolve. When motorcycles are completely retired, I want to collect all the motorcycles I have driven; who knows, maybe I can hold an exhibition in the future!"   Liang Weiwen: Motorcycles Witness the Bond Between Tobacco People and Retail Customers   Customer manager Liang Weiwen is responsible for retail customers, some in the urban area and some in the suburbs. When talking about the experience of visiting customers on a motorcycle, he shyly smiles: "Motorcycles are an indispensable part of my work. Although I am not very old, I have many years of motorcycle driving experience. In my view, learning to ride a motorcycle allows for better work. Over the years, motorcycles have become witnesses to the bond between us tobacco people and retail customers, witnessing our harmonious relationship."   Liang Weiwen still remembers the touching moments brought by retail customers: once, he rode his motorcycle to visit a customer on Chaolian Island. The weather was fine when he arrived, but it changed dramatically after the visit, with strong winds picking up. To ensure safety, a retail customer suggested that Liang Weiwen stay overnight and leave when the weather improved. To avoid delaying work, Liang Weiwen decided to return early. The strong winds posed significant challenges for motorcycle riding, and Liang Weiwen's motorcycle broke down on the iron bridge, leaving him in a dilemma. At that moment, several retail customers from Chaolian Island drove by in a truck and without hesitation, helped Liang Weiwen and his motorcycle onto the truck, taking a detour to deliver him back to the city. Liang Weiwen said emotionally: "They treated me like their own child, fearing that something might go wrong."   There are many more touching stories for Liang Weiwen, such as customers preparing raincoats for him during rainy visits; a warm cup of tea during cold weather; or a motorcycle cleaned by customers after a visit...   "Customers treat us like family, empathizing with us, and we must serve them better. Every time I visit customers, I try to provide any help I can. The strong maneuverability of motorcycles allows me to adjust visit times reasonably, deepening the bond with customers. Don't you think that’s significant?" Liang Weiwen retorts to the reporter.   Huang Wenhui: Motorcycles Help Me Improve Work Efficiency   Customer manager Huang Wenhui engages in seemingly simple yet complex work every day: arriving at the city bureau (company) for a morning meeting, preparing visit content based on the work plan, and determining the most reasonable visit routes; then riding a motorcycle to visit customers in the city according to the planned route, and using the "135" work method platform to promptly understand and feedback customer dynamics, assisting customers in their business operations; after a day of visits, returning to the office to organize materials.   Huang Wenhui also serves as a market information collector, responsible for collecting cigarette market information: "Customers in the urban area of Jiangmen City are relatively concentrated, and some roads are narrow with many small alleys. Considering these conditions, visiting customers and collecting information by motorcycle is more efficient. I have tested it before; riding a motorcycle allows me to visit over thirty customers a day, which is the highest number compared to other means of transportation within the same time frame. The more customers I visit, the more comprehensive the market information collected, which is the main reason I choose to visit customers by motorcycle."   This year, to better improve customer visits and information collection efficiency, Huang Wenhui replaced his motorcycle with a new one and has been more meticulous about its maintenance: "For us customer managers, every minute of communication with customers brings more rewards. Choosing transportation tools reasonably based on actual conditions, rather than blindly pursuing the theoretically fastest means of transportation, also inspires me to think differently when encountering problems in daily work; perhaps it will yield better results."   In the Jiangmen City Bureau (Company), there are many employees like Yang Jining, Liang Weiwen, and Huang Wenhui. These tobacco people on motorcycles are actively practicing the industry’s common values of "two supremacies."
