According to a report by PEdaily, domestic e-cigarette brand LAMI announced that it has secured a first-round investment of tens of millions of US dollars from Chaos Innovation Fund. Qunfengshe, an innovation investment and financing platform, acted as the financing advisor for this round.
It is reported that the funds will be used to further deepen the company’s full industry-chain layout in the upstream e-cigarette supply chain, improve the integration of research resources, and expand investment in its R&D system.
It is understood that Chaos Innovation Fund is an early-stage investment institution focused on industrial innovation and the industrial internet. This investment is also its first investment in the big health sector and the new tobacco harm reduction industry.
Public information shows that LAMI is an e-cigarette brand established in early 2019. Before entering the domestic market, LAMI chose Japan as the launch market for its first major appearance. It collaborated with the Japanese male robotic dance group World Order to produce an MV together, which attracted considerable attention.
The operating entity behind LAMI is LAMI Wudian, which is invested in and controlled by the Wuye Shen Group, with co-founder He Chang serving as president. He Chang was previously the founder of Huangtaiji.
LAMI is committed to providing global users with high-quality, full-category e-cigarette products, and has already initially completed the construction of its own supply chain, from e-liquid production to atomization device manufacturing. LAMI e-cigarettes initially focused on mint-flavored e-liquid and adopted compound formulas using herbal plants and other botanical ingredients, aiming to ensure the flavor experience through extracts from natural mint materials. The products have gained wide recognition in the market for their quality.
After launching its mint e-liquid flavors, it then introduced multiple flavor series.
