Interview with HQD: Replacement Pod Products Lead Sales in Russia; New Screen-Display Vaping Device

Key point: The Top of Top team spoke with Mark, who oversees HQD’s distribution business in Russia, to learn about its current situation and future plans in the Russian market.

Two Top sat down with Mark, head of HQD's distribution business in Russia, to learn about the company's current situation in the Russian market and its future plans.

According to a quick report, at the Russian vaping exhibition (VAPE CLUB SHOW 2023) held on December 16-17, Two Top interviewed Mark, the head of HQD's distribution business in Russia, to learn about HQD's current situation in the Russian market and its future plans.

HQD showcased several new products at the event. Mark introduced one of them: a vaping device with a display screen. This is HQD's latest product and is expected to launch officially next year. According to him, screen-display vaping devices are very popular in today's Russian market.

When asked about HQD's best-selling products in Russia, Mark said the company has many popular products, with the best seller being "HQD ULTIMA PRO," which offers 10,000 puffs and a smoother taste. Another strong performer is "HQD Click," a replaceable pod product that ranks among the top three best-selling products in HQD's lineup.

Regarding the Russian vaping market and the comprehensive vaping regulatory policy introduced in the country this year, Mark emphasized that HQD has always strictly complied with legal requirements. However, he noted that Russia still has a significant "gray" market, which not only violates the principle of fair competition but also negatively affects HQD's market share. Mark said this is a common issue across the industry, but HQD remains optimistic about the future.

Mark went on to say that although the vaping industry is currently facing a series of challenges, HQD firmly believes that, just as the alcohol industry once did, vaping will improve over the next few years. That is why HQD began its transformation and adaptation process well before the regulatory policy took effect.

Finally, Mark shared HQD's plans for the Russian market next year. He said the main task will be to ensure that all partners' distribution networks are fully adapted to the new regulatory changes. This move is intended to ensure HQD's continued growth in Russia and create more opportunities for the future.
