Saratoga County school principal: Beware of illegally modified vaping devices

In Saratoga County, two devices known as e-cigarettes belonging to a student were confiscated.

According to Tim Brenson, principal of Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, these devices had been modified. Brenson sent a letter warning parents about this danger. However, he stated that these e-cigarettes were not found at his school.

One of the devices contained crystal methamphetamine and a prescription stimulant branded as Vyvanse.

The school is urging parents to discuss the dangers associated with vaping with their children.
