Vuse market share rises to 42%, extending lead over Juul's 24.3%
According to the latest Nielsen convenience store report for the period ending December 2, Vuse, the best-selling e-cigarette brand owned by Reynolds (R.J. Reynolds), gained market share after a recent slight decline.
Vuse’s market share rose from 41.5% to 42%, widening its lead over second-place JUUL, whose share fell from 24.7% to 24.3%.
In May 2019, Juul held a dominant 74.6% share of the U.S. e-cigarette market, but regulatory action has reduced the availability of its products.
Although Altria Group owns third-ranked NJOY, its market share remained flat at 2.6%.
blu eCigs, under Fontem Ventures, which is affiliated with Imperial Brands Plc, also saw no change in market share, holding steady at 1.2%. Overall, the e-cigarette category declined 8% during the period.
