U.S. Hispanic Business Council Supports Government Pause on Menthol Cigarette Ban
The United States Hispanic Business Council (USHBC) has praised the Biden administration for pausing the implementation of a menthol cigarette ban.
According to a Dec. 7 report by EINPresswire.com, the United States Hispanic Business Council (USHBC) commended the Biden administration for pausing the implementation of a menthol cigarette ban.
Over the past year, USHBC has drawn attention for its strong opposition to a menthol cigarette ban, regularly appearing in national media and meeting with senior White House advisers such as Tom Perez.
Javier Palomarez, President and CEO of the United States Hispanic Business Council, told the media:
"We appreciate the Biden administration’s response to the concerns raised by the United States Hispanic Business Council (USHBC) and its decision to delay a federal menthol cigarette ban."
It is reported that the United States Hispanic Business Council serves as a leading voice for the Hispanic business community. As a nonprofit organization, USHBC is nonpartisan.
