Multiple investment firms increase holdings in Philip Morris International, with institutions owning

According to a report from foreign media outlet theceRBAtgem, Nuveen Asset Management LLC increased its stake in Philip Morris International Inc. by 11.1%.
According to the latest filings submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission, the institutional investor now holds 10.8143 million shares of the company after purchasing an additional 1.0834 million shares. At the end of the most recent quarter, Nuveen Asset Management’s holdings in Philip Morris International were valued at approximately $1.056 billion, accounting for 0.70% of the company.
Recent reports also indicate that several other institutional investors and hedge funds increased or adjusted their holdings in Philip Morris International during the second quarter. Silvercrest Asset Management Group LLC, Siemens Fonds Invest GmbH, Guardian Wealth Advisors LLC NC, Crawford Investment Counsel Inc., and Cerity Partners LLC all increased their positions compared with the previous quarter.
It is reported that a total of 79.70% of the shares are held by institutional investors.
