UK Government Releases Average E-Cigarette Prices: £6 for Disposable, £12 for Pod-Based Devices

Recently, the UK government’s official website released a consultation report mentioning the most popular e-cigarette brands and the average prices of e-cigarettes in the market.

Breaking news: The UK government’s official website has released a consultation report detailing the most popular e-cigarette brands and the average prices of e-cigarettes.  

The report states that in 2022, the most popular disposable e-cigarette brand among young people in the UK was ELFBAR, priced at around £5; while ELFBAR's pod-based products were priced at around £8.  

The report also highlighted the average prices of different product categories in the UK market. Among them:  

• The average price of disposable e-cigarettes is £6;

• The average price of pod-based e-cigarette kits is £12;

• The average price of open-system devices is £40.

Additionally, according to updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, two statistics reported the average export price of e-cigarettes from China to the UK in October 2023. The export price was $40.33/kg, a month-on-month increase of 1.62% and a year-on-year decrease of 18.65%; the average price of "e-cigarettes and similar personal vaporizing devices" was £3.8/unit.
