According to a report by sinarharian on November 23, the Malaysian Vaping Industry Alliance (MVA) publicly urges the local government to regulate the vaping industry without implementing the tobacco endgame policy (GEG) to safeguard consumer interests.
MVA President Khairil Azizi Khairuddin stated that they will support the government in promoting regulations for smoking control products in public health for 2023, without using GEG to protect public health while also respecting civil rights.
