Snowplus Launches First TPD-Compliant 5,000-Puff Disposable Vape

SnowPlus has announced the launch of the world's first TPD-compliant disposable vape with 5,000 puffs.

On October 27, at the UK vaping expo, it was discovered at the SnowPlus booth that the brand has introduced a disposable vaping product with 5,000 puffs, available in two models—SnowPlus Gold and SnowPlus Clic. SnowPlus claims in its promotional materials that this is the world's first TPD-compliant disposable product with 5,000 puffs.

However, according to Two Supremes' understanding, one of the most important regulations in the TPD standard is that the e-liquid capacity must not exceed 2ml, which is roughly equivalent to about 600 puffs. The UK vaping market must adhere to the TRPR standard, which is similar to the TPD standard and also stipulates that e-liquid capacity must be within 2ml. Therefore, most disposable vaping products that comply with EU and UK regulations maintain around 600 puffs. 

Additionally, Two Supremes found on the official website of the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) that SnowPlus's product has been successfully registered.

So, how did SnowPlus manage to break the puff limit while complying with regulations? Two Supremes inquired with the brand's booth representative, but they declined to answer.

However, Two Supremes still found some information about the product in SnowPlus's promotional materials. According to the manual, this product features a new structure and improved atomization technology, significantly enhancing the product's lifespan. The e-liquid capacity of this product is 12ml (noted in the manual as 2ml + 10ml), and it includes a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 500mAh.

According to the promotional manual and operational steps on YouTube, this product requires the original pod to be removed and replaced with a larger capacity e-liquid chamber.

Additionally, the promotional manual indicates that this product comes in 16 flavors, including citrus orange, cherry soda, cherry cola, and mixed fruit puree.
