In September, exports of e-cigarettes to South Korea reached approximately $59.78 million, an increase of 1.15% month-on-month and 43.55% year-on-year.
According to updated trade data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, the statistics for September 2023 regarding e-cigarette exports from China to South Korea are as follows:

The export value was approximately $59.78 million, with a month-on-month increase of 1.15% and a year-on-year increase of 43.55%.

The export volume was approximately 2,587 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 0.05% and a year-on-year increase of 174.9%.

The export price was $23.11 per kilogram, with a month-on-month increase of 1.21% and a year-on-year decrease of 47.78%; the average price for “e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices” was $2.02 per unit.

Among them, “e-cigarettes and similar personal electronic vaporizing devices” accounted for 11.73% of the export categories, while “products that do not contain tobacco or reconstituted tobacco, and non-combustible products containing nicotine” accounted for 88.27%.

According to Statista's data forecast, the revenue of the e-cigarette market in South Korea is expected to reach $60.5 million in 2023; the market is projected to grow at an annual growth rate of 2.43% (CAGR from 2023 to 2028); based on the total population, the per capita consumption of e-cigarettes in South Korea in 2023 is estimated to be $1.26; the South Korean e-cigarette market is growing rapidly, with various flavors and stylish designs catering to tech-savvy consumers.
