Recently, the Monaco government announced at a press conference that it is drafting a bill to ban the sale of disposable e-cigarettes. Christophe Robin, the Minister of Health and Social Affairs of Monaco, stated that the bill is nearly complete and will soon be submitted to the Monaco Parliament. He also mentioned that the ban on disposable e-cigarettes is based on two reasons: first, the health of young people, as more and more young people are starting to use nicotine-containing disposable e-cigarettes; second, environmental protection, as these battery-operated devices are being discarded carelessly, impacting the environment. However, Robin added that rechargeable e-cigarettes will not be affected by this ban.
