FDA Proposes Five Major Vaping Strategies
Global intelligence has learned that the FDA recently held a listening session to formulate a strategic plan for the Center for Tobacco Products over the next five years. They also stated that the strategic plan will be released by the end of 2023. This CTP has proposed five target areas, including developing tobacco regulations and guidelines, ensuring timely, clear, and consistent product application reviews, enforcing compliance through strong enforcement actions, enhancing regulation to improve health, and promoting operational excellence. The meeting also addressed issues such as whether the flavor ban will continue.
