HNB Expands into 26,000 Convenience Stores
Global intelligence has learned that KT&G announced it will expand the sales points of its heated tobacco lil HYBRID 3.0 to approximately 26,000 convenience stores in South Korea starting August 23. This channel expansion will include six metropolitan areas, including Seoul, Sejong, and some cities in Gyeonggi Province. Its design features are also very powerful, such as the ability to switch freely between leisure mode, a "pause" function, "smart startup," automatic preheating, cleaning, and fast charging functions, and a color LCD display for a clearer and more intuitive view of battery and tobacco stick remaining information, all of which are optimizations of functionality.

▲ Comment: KT&G can be considered one of the global HNB giants, excelling in the Japanese and Korean markets, and is now continuing to expand its channel network in South Korea, covering over 20,000 convenience stores. This shows that channel access is crucial for brand reach to the end consumer, which is noteworthy.
