Still expanding e-cigarette production? Annual output hits 600 million units!?
Recently, I noticed some regions have new e-cigarette projects being established.
For example, in Hunan, a project for the annual production of 600 million e-cigarette shells has passed approval and public announcement, along with many production lines.

(The shell production is quite impressive)
According to the information, this is a project by Mingdayuan Technology. Anren County has also announced the approval decision for the construction project of Hunan Mingdayuan Technology Co., Ltd. for the annual production of 600 million electronic shells.

(Approved)
The project is located in the Jinrong Science and Technology Park on Renxin North Road in Yonglejiang Town, Anren County, with a total investment of 150 million yuan, a total land area of about 4500 m2, and a total construction area of about 20000 m2. The main construction content includes one production line for electronic cigarette shells in Building C4, three spraying lines, one powder coating line, and one silk screen line; one production line for electronic cigarette shells in Building B5, one powder coating line; one production line for electronic cigarette shells in Building C2, one powder coating line, along with auxiliary works, environmental protection works, and public works. The production scale is to produce 600 million electronic cigarette shells annually, spray 3 million electronic cigarette shells annually, and powder coat 30 million electronic cigarette shells annually.
600 million electronic cigarette shells is no small number, and it reflects the strong global market demand.
Speaking of production, for instance, in Dongguan, there are numerous e-cigarette manufacturing companies. Some companies are also in trial production. For example, Dongguan Zhongyao Electric Technology Co., Ltd. started producing and selling e-cigarette accessory products in the first half of the year, and the production line has completed installation and debugging, currently in the initial production and capacity ramp-up stage.
In addition, many well-known companies in Dongguan, such as Changying Precision's wholly-owned subsidiary Dongguan Alpha Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., mainly engage in ODM and EMS for e-cigarettes, IoT hardware, etc. The company's e-cigarette products clients mainly include RELX, British American Tobacco, JUUL, and other large e-cigarette companies.
In March of this year, Shenzhen Tuosheng Industrial Co., Ltd. announced a new e-cigarette factory project, including Shenzhen Yinghesheng Electronics Co., Ltd.'s new e-cigarette factory project.
In fact, the expansion of e-cigarette factories is evident this year in Guangdong. Recently, several e-cigarette-related companies in Guangdong, including MOTI, Smoore, Boden, and Hanqingda, have multiple projects in Jiangmen, Huizhou, and Foshan, with a total investment amount reaching 5.85 billion yuan, included in the key construction projects of Guangdong Province.
Especially in Shenzhen, there are many licensed e-cigarette companies.
According to a set of data released in November last year, there are currently 845 e-cigarette manufacturing companies in Shenzhen, accounting for 68% of the national total; 428 have obtained licenses, accounting for 73.5%. There are 119 companies above designated size, with 94 having obtained licenses. Overall, leading, large-scale, and well-managed enterprises have basically obtained licenses.
Moreover, the 400+ licensed companies in Shenzhen will continue to strengthen the export of Chinese e-cigarettes!
