Zhejiang Province’s Product Quality Supervision Spot-Check Resultsfor E-Cigarette Products in the First Half of 2023In the first half of 2023, the Zhejiang Tobacco Monopoly Bureau conducted product quality supervision spot checks on the e-cigarette market in Zhejiang Province. A total of 8 e-cigarette products from 3 brands produced by 3 e-cigarette companies were sampled, including 5 pods and 3 devices.This spot check tested a total of 12 quality and safety items, including refill prevention, leak prevention, activation protection, water resistance, drop strength, nicotine in aerosol, 2,3-butanedione in aerosol, heavy metals in aerosol, arsenic in aerosol, nicotine release in e-cigarette emissions, carbonyl compound release in e-cigarette emissions, and total aerosol additives. All sampled products met the requirements of the national E-Cigarettes standard (GB 41700-2022). Zhejiang Tobacco Monopoly Bureau July 3, 2023
