Chongqing Jiangjin Cracks Major Illegal Vape Manufacturing and Sales Case, First of Its Kind in Sout

Today, on March 28, news from Chongqing Jiangjin police reported that the Jiangjin District Tobacco Monopoly Bureau and the Public Security Bureau recently cracked a major illegal manufacturing and sales case involving non-standard electronic cigarettes. Over 7,000 illegal electronic cigarette devices, more than 20,000 finished pods, and over 30 pieces of related production equipment were seized on-site, with the initial estimated value of the case reaching 30 million yuan and involving 75 individuals.

This is also the first major illegal electronic cigarette manufacturing and sales case cracked in the southwestern region.

According to police, during the investigation, they discovered that individuals were selling non-standard flavored electronic cigarettes and related products on social media platforms like WeChat. After a month of investigation, the police accurately identified an illegal production factory located in Dongguan and successfully dismantled a criminal gang led by a person named Zhu across provinces.

Currently, all suspects in this case have been subjected to criminal coercive measures by Jiangjin police, and the case is under further processing.
