It seems a bit unbelievable that SMOK is venturing into mouth-to-lung devices, but it is indeed happening. The company, which started with big clouds, has recently released three refillable all-in-one mouth-to-lung e-cigarettes, all of which can be found in the market alongside similar products from other brands. The SMOK Fit resembles a refillable Juul, the Rolo can be seen as an inverted Suorin Air, while the Infinix can be viewed as a version of the Phix.
The Infinix features a built-in 250mAh battery with an automatic firing function, and it includes a 2ml capacity refillable pod, along with a 15ml syringe bottle for refilling. Looking at the Infinix, you might easily mistake it for a Phix, especially the gunmetal version, which is more likely to cause confusion. However, there are some differences between them—though Phix fans may need some time to spot these differences. Many users may have the same question about the Infinix: isn't this just a refillable version of the Phix? While I wish the Infinix could achieve that, it actually does not. Even though SMOK would love to make that happen, the truth is that the Infinix's user experience is still different from the Phix, though that does not mean the Infinix has shortcomings.
The Infinix boasts excellent build quality with no obvious defects. It features a zinc alloy shell with a matte finish, and the design is inspired by diamonds. Generally, such devices tend to be lightweight, and the Infinix is no exception—its weight is only 22g, and the surface has a very nice feel. However, I would have preferred some texture on the body to provide a more secure grip. Regardless of how the body is designed (for example, making the edges more rounded), the Infinix still looks like a Phix. If you do not like this type of design, you may not enjoy the Infinix.
The pod's appearance matches the device's design, gradually tapering at the mouthpiece, which may help users better identify the front and back of the device. One downside is that the pod and the main unit do not connect completely, but at least they fit snugly together.
Users can easily observe the remaining e-liquid in the pod, as both the front and back of the pod have a glass-shaped viewing window. Refilling the pod is also very easy; users can use the syringe bottle for refilling, but using a glass dropper may lead to leaking. The refill hole is located at the bottom of the pod, and the rubber plug is secured to the pod, so users do not have to worry about losing it.
The Infinix provides users with a good, warm mouth-to-lung experience, with flavor performance slightly above average and a throat hit at a mid-level. The draw on the Infinix is relatively easy, and you do not need to pull hard to activate it; the draw experience is most similar to MyBlu, but the Infinix has a quicker firing and stopping response.
We tested e-liquids with VG/PG ratios ranging from 50/50 to 70/30, and there were no noises during inhalation, and even after several refills, the pod did not burn out. The pod uses a standard cotton wick, and so far, the wicking experience has been excellent—each time I completely deplete the e-liquid in the pod before refilling. However, occasionally I would draw a bit of e-liquid from the mouthpiece, and while it was just a small leak, it did cause some issues with the battery.
The battery life of the Infinix corresponds to its 250mAh capacity; while the battery life is not long, it can be quickly charged via the USB port at the bottom of the device—charging from empty to full takes only 25 minutes. Users can also use the Infinix while charging, but you need to ensure that the bottom of the pod is dry.
Aside from its appearance being quite similar to the Phix, I believe the Infinix performs well enough. Compared to the non-refillable Phix, I might prefer using the Infinix. However, due to the pod leaking and causing issues with the battery, I cannot recommend it to you. As a device that supports refillable e-liquid, it must withstand the test of e-liquid leaking from the bottom of the pod. I really enjoy the Infinix's user experience, so if SMOK can resolve this issue, I would still highly recommend players to use this Infinix. And if you are already planning to purchase the Infinix, please be sure to keep the bottom of the pod dry. #p#分页标题#e#
