Kangertech Nebox Mini/Nano Hands-On Review

Kangertech has earned strong recognition among domestic users thanks to its outstanding value for money. Its sub-brand Xiaomayi launched the Nebox as its first model, and with sales in the millions, it became a classic. Now the Nebox has introduced Mini a

Jire has gained significant recognition among domestic players for its high cost-performance ratio and has received considerable approval. The Ant, as a sub-brand, launched the Space Fortress as its first model, achieving classic status with sales in the millions. Now, the Space Fortress has released mini and nano versions, corresponding to 80W adjustable and mechanical versions, respectively. Let's take a closer look.

First, let's examine the appearance of the two products. The Space Fortress mini packaging continues the classic design of the Space Fortress, with the outer box printed with the product's appearance. It is evident that the Space Fortress mini is a smaller version of the single-battery Space Fortress, with power reduced from 200W to 80W. The Space Fortress nano packaging is primarily black and does not display the product's appearance, only the product logo and nameplate.   The contents of the Space Fortress mini and nano packaging are quite similar. Upon opening the package, both include the main device x1, a warranty card x1, a battery usage card x1, a product certificate x1, a user manual x1, and a data cable x1. Jire Space Fortress mini/nano hands-on review   The Space Fortress mini retains the color scheme of the Space Fortress, and the design of the buttons and edges continues the style. The trapezoidal appearance of the Space Fortress has been transformed into a rectangular design, eliminating the need for two batteries, making the Space Fortress mini more portable. Comparing the two devices, there are some color differences; the mini version is slightly brighter, while the nano version is a bit darker.   The front of the device has high recognition, and the side, top 510 interface, and battery compartment are quite similar.   The dimensions of the Space Fortress mini and nano are 37mm x 24mm x 81mm, making them portable and convenient to carry. The side of the device features four heat dissipation vents, and the battery compartment has four heat dissipation vents, along with additional vents on the opposite side, totaling 16 heat dissipation vents to ensure that heat is quickly expelled during use.   The Space Fortress mini supports a maximum power of 80W. The method of use involves pressing the fire button five times consecutively, and pressing the “+” and “-” buttons together can activate the lock function, which is very user-friendly for domestic players. The mini has wattage mode, curve mode, mechanical mode, and temperature control mode, supporting nickel, titanium, and stainless steel temperature control.   The Space Fortress nano features a warning light above the Micro charging port. When not connected to a vaporizer or if the resistance is below 0.1Ω, the red light will flash five times. If the battery level is above 30%, the white light will flash; if below 30%, the red light will flash. When the chip temperature exceeds 60 degrees, the temperature control protection function will activate, causing the red and white lights to flash five times. If the firing time exceeds 10 seconds, it will activate the protection function, stopping output. It is evident that the Space Fortress nano is a very safe mechanical box.

Jire Space Fortress mini/nano hands-on review Overall, while the Space Fortress mini and nano may not have many standout features, they are highly practical and meet users' demands for portability. The overall workmanship has no obvious shortcomings, and the cost-performance ratio is excellent. For those who do not require too many functions and have portability requirements, these two boxes are indeed a good choice. It is worth mentioning that all products under Jire offer permanent warranty service from the date of purchase, excluding human factors.
