How Much Is the RELX 4th Generation? RELX Infinity Review
Hello everyone, I’m not Zhazhahui, but I’m back. Last time I reviewed the ice green bean flavor pod for the RELX Infinity, and some users commented asking if I could mention the downsides. That’s true; the app is filled with positive reviews, but personal taste varies. Since I’m doing a review, I should mention both pros and cons. Coincidentally, while writing this, my RELX Infinity experienced its first oil leak...

1. Device & Charging Case
I bought the fourth-generation RELX Infinity charging kit, which comes with a charging case and two flavors of pods (mint and green bean). The image of the device is in another post of mine. The kit is shown as black, but I’ve noticed it has a deep blue hue in bright light. My usage habit is to put it directly into the charging case after use. I’ve had it for about a week, and the charging case’s white light flickered, indicating low battery. I charged it once, and it has been holding power since. Roughly estimating, a full charge can last five to six days, depending on how frequently you use the device. Overall, spending an extra hundred for worry-free battery life is worth it. After placing the device inside, the charging light remains on when the case is closed, giving a full tech vibe that satisfies the inner geek. The metal material of the device feels great, but it becomes a sweat collector when my hands are sweaty, leaving noticeable sweat marks. However, due to the material's advantages, it’s easy to clean with just a wipe.
As for the downsides, so far, aside from the recent oil leak, I haven’t found any significant flaws in the device or charging case. The front of the charging case is finely crafted, but the plastic feel at the side connections is quite heavy, making it look a bit rough. It’s also a bit thick; if it could be thinner, it would feel more upscale. The device’s only downside, aside from being a sweat collector, is that I haven’t found any significant issues so far. After all, it’s just a heated vaporizing device, and the flavor largely depends on the pods.
2. Pods
I just experienced an oil leak, but it might be related to my lying position, so for now, the RELX Infinity has good oil leak control. This one-time leak doesn’t say much, and I’ll need to observe it further.

Taste is subjective; everyone has their preferences. RELX has done well, but there’s an issue with the flavor fading. About two-thirds into the pod, the flavor diminishes significantly. For example, the green bean flavor weakens a lot, and by the end, it feels like I’m just inhaling minty vapor with only a hint of green bean. After switching to watermelon for a day and then back to green bean, the flavor returned somewhat, but it still wasn’t very strong—just a faint green bean taste. After a few puffs, it reverted to the minty vapor state. This issue seems to be more than just flavor fatigue, which is a bit disappointing.
Another personal issue I encountered was coughing for two days after using this product. Previously, I had no coughing issues with regular cigarettes. I searched online for related information, and it might be related to the hygroscopic nature of glycerin. Due to a strong nicotine craving, I sometimes inhale deeply, leading to throat dryness. This coughing was particularly noticeable when using the green bean flavor. In my previous review, I mentioned that the ice green bean pod replicated the texture of green bean cake, which I thought was great, but now it has become a concern. Whenever that texture appears, I tend to cough, feeling like my throat is inflamed and sensitive, which has persisted for three to four days. It has improved slightly but is still quite noticeable. I’m not sure what caused it, so I recommend that those who haven’t purchased it try it in-store first to avoid discomfort.
Another point to complain about is that the RELX Infinity has very few flavors and is often out of stock. I wanted to try the rich tobacco flavor but haven’t been able to. I asked the store owner, and they said the manufacturer is out of stock. Watching the first-generation flavors being released in batches is quite tempting; I almost wanted to switch to the first generation since it’s cheaper. However, considering the oil leak issue, I held back. I hope the manufacturer speeds up production and development to avoid disappointing RELX Infinity users!
3. Summary
Overall, I’m quite satisfied with RELX. In the week since I got it, I’ve only smoked four regular cigarettes, and it wasn’t due to cravings; I just wanted to see what it felt like to smoke again. The first two were finished, but I couldn’t finish the third one halfway through, and I only took two puffs of the fourth before tossing it. The rest of the time, I had no interest in regular cigarettes; RELX has completely replaced them (I used to smoke a pack a day). Now, the smell of secondhand smoke is unpleasant and harsh. #p#分页标题#e#
Overall, I’m quite satisfied with RELX, but the coughing issue worries me, and I hope it disappears soon. For those who haven’t purchased it, I still recommend trying it in-store first. Don’t blindly buy flavors; user reviews should only serve as a reference. Everyone has different tastes, and I hope all users can find their long-term favorite!
