As a newbie, I've recently wanted to try vaping. I previously used a JUUL, but the pods were too expensive, so I switched to a Firefly ECS device and started refilling it with e-liquid. Now I'm looking to change my device, but there are so many options on the market. I want to know if there's a significant difference in taste between using a device with a tank and one that uses coils wrapped in cotton, especially if I'm not interested in producing large clouds. Are there any portable options you would recommend? I'm currently looking at the Firefly GS5.0 and eGO Nex, but I haven't found much information online about their differences. I'm just looking for a smoking alternative, so I hope you can help clarify this for me.

Personally, I feel that these two options are neither high-end nor low-end, and their technology is outdated with very mild flavor.
You could either go for a small device with high nicotine pods to satisfy cravings, or buy a proper mouth-to-lung tank to enjoy a richer flavor. The IKEA special Zelas set is good for beginners, and while the Nautilus is older, it still offers decent flavor in the mouth-to-lung category.

I tried the JUUL for half a month, and it does hit quickly, but I need one to one and a half pods a day, which is too costly. I'm not looking to quit smoking; I just want a substitute because smoking is banned in the office, and I'm worried about using a device that produces large clouds, as it's not very convenient.
