Organizations Recommend Strict Government Regulation of E-cigarettes

According to news from www.drugabuse.gov, the Tobacco Laboratory Network (TobLabNet) has recommended that governments around the world implement appropriate regulations on e-cigarette products and similar smoking devices. This should start with research on the smoke and other related data from these products to enhance their management. Additionally, e-cigarette manufacturers should be required to disclose information to the public regarding the components of their products, such as batteries, e-liquid, and parts that heat the e-liquid.
Furthermore, TobLabNet has established appropriate methods to determine harmful chemical components in tobacco and smoke. The laboratory believes that in recent years, e-cigarette products and similar smoking devices have gradually become popular in most Western countries, and therefore, governments should conduct research and regulation on them. Moreover, data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States has found that in some developed countries, the usage of such products among minors is also on the rise, indicating that the regulation of these products should be expedited.
