China e-cigarette news: Gamucci e-cigarettes are a brand under the well-known UK medical company IASO. They launched in London in 2007 and entered the Chinese market in 2011. Gamucci is a premium brand in the e-cigarette industry, a luxury-grade smoking alternative, and is widely recognized as one of the safest and best-tasting e-cigarettes.
On December 3, the UK Gamucci company announced a deal with Tesco that will allow Gamucci e-cigarettes to be sold in about 2,000 Tesco convenience stores and Tesco petrol stations across the UK.
In a press release, Gamucci said: “This further expands Gamucci's retail presence in the UK. Previously, we have also established similar partnerships with Waitrose, WHSmith, and other top retailers in the UK and overseas.”
As part of the e-cigarette product category displayed next to existing tobacco sales counters, Gamucci products will be added to Tesco's fixed display cabinets.
John Dunn, Gamucci's UK sales director, said: “The deal with Tesco further strengthens our position as one of the UK's leading e-cigarette brands.”
“As the e-cigarette market continues to grow, product quality and brand loyalty are becoming increasingly important.”
“Because Gamucci fully owns its manufacturing facilities and can produce products that meet industry-leading quality standards, we have quickly earned a reputation for supplying the best e-cigarettes.”
In late November, Gamucci unveiled what is said to be the world's first customized airport e-cigarette use area. This e-cigarette area is located in the boarding zone of Terminal 4 at Heathrow Airport.
Gamucci's press release said: “The Gamucci e-cigarette area is the first airport venue to offer a designated indoor area for passengers to enjoy e-cigarettes.”
Euromonitor International says there are now about 1.6 million e-cigarette users in the UK, and the global e-cigarette industry is worth at least $3.5 billion.
According to Nielsen, Gamucci's sales grew by more than 2,000% year on year.
