1. ZEAL+ Pod Device Appearance
 
The product has a very minimalist appearance with a black layout, featuring the ZEAL+ logo on the front. At first glance, it looks very much like a power bank, which is not incorrect, as it indeed functions as a power bank, but there’s much more to it inside. The top has a charging port and a charging indicator light. The back has a slot for charging a spare battery, which can be plugged directly in, and it will automatically cut off power once fully charged. The side shows the remaining battery level of the battery box, with four white indicator lights making it easy to determine how much power is left. The battery capacity of the charging box is 1350mAH, which can charge the main device battery about 5 times. The way to open the battery box is somewhat reminiscent of the sliding cover design of the Nokia 5730XM; just a simple push opens it. The tactile feel is somewhat like magnetic suction, but in reality, it combines magnetic suction with a spring structure. Once opened, you can see two storage compartments: the smaller box on top is for spare pods, while the longer compartment below is for storing the main device. The built-in anti-slip mat ensures that the pods and the main device do not easily fall out when opening the box.

The main device is entirely black with a matte finish, featuring an LED indicator light on the front, a pod slot above, and a battery slot below. The battery capacity is 240mAH, which can provide about 300-350 puffs. It comes with two batteries and two refillable pods.

The pods use a traditional heating wire structure. It’s worth mentioning that the original cotton has been replaced with some kind of fiber, which extends the usage time while also allowing for very fast oil absorption. I have not experienced any burnt wicks, even with the lychee oil, which is usually prone to burning. The oil filling position is next to the electrode at the bottom of the pod; the small black rubber plug can be removed to reveal the filling hole. The opening is a bit small, so care must be taken when filling to avoid doing it too quickly. As for the lifespan of the pods, I can only say that after using one for a week, it still performs well, and so far, I have not encountered any burnt pods, so I cannot provide a specific duration.

2. ZEAL+ Pod Flavor
 
In terms of flavor, I personally feel that it leans more towards fruity oils with a hint of coolness. I tried several ice-flavored fruit e-liquids and found them quite pleasant. The tobacco flavor is subjective; it’s not that the tobacco oil is bad, but I feel it doesn’t quite meet my expectations. The flavor is present, but it feels slightly lacking in richness.

The simple and elegant appearance, along with the charging box that can hold spare batteries and pods, significantly enhances convenience for daily use. The charging box can store all accessories and products except for the charging cable, providing sufficient battery life for outings. The sliding cover design of the charging box improves the overall tactile experience of the product.
