Sharing My Experience with IQOS 3

I bought the IQOS 3 electronic cigarette as soon as it was launched, and I've been using it for nearly a month now. I feel it's quite good, both in terms of product appearance and hardware conditions; it’s very user-friendly.

1. Product Appearance.

1. Material.

The material has a slightly frosted texture, which feels great to the touch, giving a very soft sensation. Both the cigarette rod and the heater are made of this material. I bought the black version, and it looks very minimalist and elegant with this material.

2. The heater's “side opening” design.

I was surprised by its “side opening” design. The heater of this fourth-generation IQOS 3 electronic cigarette opens from the side, with the cigarette rod insertion point located on the side of the device. When in use, it opens up, looking very high-tech, and compared to previous heating methods, it is much more stable.

3. Main unit side cover.

This model's main unit side cover is quite interesting; it can be removed. Previously, users could only DIY with stickers if they wanted to personalize their electronic cigarettes. However, due to the “side opening” design of the IQOS 3, the main unit side cover can be directly removed, allowing smokers to change colors if they get tired of one, adding a personal touch that is very trendy.

2. Usage Method.

The usage method is quite simple, with no complicated operations. Before use, just place the cigarette rod into the heater to heat it. During the heating process, there will be three vibrations of different durations to remind smokers of the heating progress, and there is also an indicator light. The heating time is relatively short; I heard it has been shortened by 40 seconds compared to the previous generation, which is very user-friendly.

Additionally, there is a small improvement in the usage method; this model has added a circular metal touch area at the bottom of the heating rod, allowing insertion without worrying about the direction.

3. Product Performance.

1. Battery Life.

The performance of the IQOS 3 is impressive, especially in terms of battery life. This model has significantly improved battery capacity, doubling the number of cigarette rods that can be heated, making it much more convenient to use.

2. Flashing Red Light Issue.

The flashing red light has been a significant factor affecting product performance, which has been criticized in the past. Fortunately, this update has finally addressed this issue, with the frequency of the flashing red light significantly reduced. During my usage, I have rarely encountered this problem.

Aside from these points, the flavor and taste of the IQOS 3 are also commendable. The warmth and strength of the smoke are quite satisfying, providing an excellent smoking experience. A friend of mine, who used to smoke traditional cigarettes, switched to this model and found it quite comfortable, so smokers in need can consider this cost-effective electronic cigarette.
