According to Tobacco Science and Education Network, citing Minnesota Public Radio News, another U.S. state has recently implemented an indoor vaping ban.

According to reports, the state of Minnesota has passed a new Clean Indoor Air Act. This is an amendment to the state’s previous tobacco control legislation: in addition to the existing ban on the use of traditional cigarettes in most indoor public places, it now adds an indoor use ban on certain new tobacco products, including vape products and e-cigarettes.

Some analysts believe the law will slow the use of e-cigarette products in the region, as consumption scenarios have changed and the number of public places where they can be used is gradually decreasing.

At the same time, statistics from the Minnesota Department of Health show that in 2018, 20% of local high school students used e-cigarettes, representing an increase of nearly 50% compared with 2014.
