Recently, according to relevant sources, Pan Fanglin has been appointed head of marketing for the domestic vaping brand vitavp VITA. She will be responsible for leading work related to the corporate identity system, brand development, global communications, and support for offline sales channels, and may report directly to VITA founder and chairman Liu Dongyuan.
Pan Fanglin graduated from the Communication University of China with a master’s degree. Over the course of her career, she has worked at the world’s largest communications group WPP (global 4A), iClick (HK 4A), and BlueFocus (China 4A), and has also served brands including Microsoft, Dell, Acer, Mobike, and Lianjia. She is a well-known entrepreneurship mentor and marketing expert in China, with extensive hands-on experience in team management, brand building, market operations, public relations, online advertising, digital marketing, and digital strategy.
It is understood that Vitavp VITA, a vaping brand, is an “Executive Council Member Unit” of the Electronic Cigarette Industry Committee of the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce. Founded in 2015, the company initially focused on the R&D of e-liquid products. Founder and CEO Liu Dongyuan told 36Kr that the company began entering the pod device segment at the end of 2016. The total R&D cycle lasted nearly a year and a half, and the products officially entered the market in 2018. At the end of 2018, Vitavp VITA received financing in the tens of millions of RMB from Prometheus Capital, a company under Wang Sicong, to further increase investment in product R&D and domestic and overseas market channels.
