World E-Cigarette Public Health and Safety Declaration Officially Released

On December 18, the "2019 International E-Cigarette Summit" hosted by the Electronic Cigarette Industry Committee of the China Electronic Commerce Association was grandly opened in Shenzhen. This year's forum theme is "Public Health and Safety, Regulated Development and Supervision," attracting over 1,000 representatives from e-cigarette business associations and companies from 10 countries including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Greece, France, Malaysia, South Korea, Indonesia, and Belgium to attend the event. The conference solemnly released the "World E-Cigarette Public Health and Safety Declaration."
 
The declaration pointed out that increasing research and development on product health and safety, strengthening monitoring of the production process, improving product quality testing, and standardizing marketing behavior to make e-cigarettes healthier and safer is the unremitting pursuit of all practitioners. Preventing minors from using e-cigarettes is also a unified action within the industry.

Representatives attending the conference believed that industry personnel must take responsibility and mission for enhancing the public health and safety of e-cigarettes, not only to provide users with a new generation of consumption experience but also to make users' health, safety, and happiness the fundamental driving force for development.
 
The representatives also reached a consensus to establish a World E-Cigarette Alliance, formulate internationally applicable rules, and build a bridge for communication and cooperation, based on scientific research to manufacture higher quality products and establish a more effective market order, calling on all institutions and individuals in the industry to participate in "E-Cigarette Public Health and Safety."

The preparation for the establishment of the World E-Cigarette Alliance and the official release of the Public Health and Safety Declaration are expected to promote the industrialization, standardization, and regulation of the e-cigarette industry to a certain extent, which is of far-reaching significance.

As the electronic cigarette industry associations and enterprises, we should not only provide the most technologically advanced vaping products that ensure consumers the best experience possible, but also take on the responsibility to improve public health and the safety of electronic cigarettes.

We believe this cooperation will allow us to manufacture higher quality products based on the latest scientific research and establish a more stable marketplace. We call on all organizations and individuals across the industry to participate in this e-cigarette public health and safety initiative.
