Two Xinxiang Stationery Stores Sold E-Cigarettes to Primary School Students

Recently, several parents in Weihui City, Xinxiang, Henan Province, reported that two stationery stores near Weihui No. 6 Primary School were selling e-cigarettes to elementary school students, with one class discovering that over ten students had made purchases.
 
The school teachers only learned about this after receiving phone calls, and the children are only in the sixth grade, aged 12. The e-cigarettes sold to the elementary students were priced between 20 to 25 yuan each. Parents expressed that many children have already become addicted and requested severe penalties for the relevant stores rather than compensation.

The Weihui City Administration for Industry and Commerce responded that they are currently investigating the matter. By the afternoon of the 26th, the two relevant stationery stores had been sealed off for investigation.
