RELX Sets Up Party Branch at Headquarters; CEO Wang Ying Shares Her View

Recently, the Party branch of Beijing Fog Core Technology Co., Ltd. was officially established, and the founding conference was held at the headquarters office in Beijing.
 
Jin Yu, the secretary of the Hujiayuan Community Party Committee in Chaoyang District, Beijing, spoke at the conference.

At the founding conference, Jin Yu stated that the establishment of a Party organization in non-public enterprises not only adds bricks to grassroots Party building but, more importantly, can better convey the Party's policies to the grassroots and unite the strength of grassroots Party members. Non-public enterprises must firmly rally around the Party Central Committee, maintain consistency with the Party Central Committee, strengthen ideological awareness from within, jointly maintain social stability, promote social harmony, and participate in social construction. The community Party committee will also firmly support the development and construction of the Party branch in non-public enterprises to assist in enterprise development.

In Wang Ying's view, for enterprises, strong Party building leads to strong development. When Party building work is solid, it becomes productivity; when it is detailed, it becomes cohesion; when it is strong, it becomes competitiveness. Party building work serves and promotes enterprise development, and enterprise development in turn supports and feeds back into Party building work, creating a virtuous cycle between the two.

Wang Ying stated that the reason RELX prioritized non-public Party building on its important agenda shortly after its establishment is that we, as "old" Party members, hold the firm belief of "staying true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission in mind": to do a good job in business, we must firmly resolve to build and strengthen the Party organization, fully leverage the role of the Party organization to lead enterprise development. "Only by adhering to integrity and innovation, focusing on innovation, can we promote high-quality development while better meeting the people's growing needs for a better life."

Regarding how to integrate Party building work into enterprise development, Zhang Fan stated that first, we must learn and promote the spirit of Jinggangshan, the Long March, Yan'an, and Xibaipo, and deeply integrate these spirits with the company's development, continuously solidifying the foundation and strengthening the implementation of Party organization construction; second, we must earnestly implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party, making innovative development the core driving force, adhering to quality as the lifeline, and creating value as the greatest responsibility, closely integrating Party building work with business, promoting business through Party building; third, we must use the Party branch as a fulcrum, fully leverage the role of the Party organization, and continuously promote business development, making Party building work a powerful tool for the company’s innovative development and active fulfillment of social responsibilities. "Under the leadership of the higher-level Party organization, we will continuously absorb advanced experiences, ensure that the work of the Party branch is done well and solidly, making our Party building work a strong driving force for the company's business."

It is reported that Beijing Fog Core Technology Co., Ltd. is a young technology-based startup and a new force in the non-public enterprise sector. Currently, it has 243 employees, of which 32 are formal Party members, accounting for 13.2%. After the company's preliminary preparation and application, the street Party working committee and community Party committee conducted strict assessments and approved the establishment of the Party branch of Beijing Fog Core Technology Co., Ltd.
