Dabu Police Inspect Vapes Around School Campuses
On June 4, 2021, Dabu police and multiple local agencies inspected retailers around school campuses for illegal vape sales, including cannabis vaping devices.
On the morning of June 4, 2021, the Dabu County Public Security Bureau's Anti-Drug Team, in conjunction with the County Tobacco Monopoly Bureau, County Market Supervision Administration, County Education Bureau, and County Women's Federation, conducted a special inspection action against the illegal sale of e-cigarettes and cannabis e-cigarettes around school campuses.

At Hushan Middle School, Experimental Middle School, and Dabu Primary School, the joint inspection team checked whether retail stores, stationery stores, and restaurants around the campus were illegally selling e-cigarettes and cannabis e-cigarettes. The anti-drug police also educated the operators of nearby shops about new drugs such as "cannabis e-cigarettes," "Kawa潮饮," and "little branches," guiding them on how to identify new drugs during their daily operations. They also informed the operators that storing, selling, transporting, and using cannabis e-cigarettes are all illegal activities, and any such behavior should be reported to the public security authorities in a timely manner.

This special action inspected a total of 15 business locations, distributed 50 promotional flyers, and found no illegal sales of e-cigarettes or cannabis e-cigarettes. Through the promotion and dissemination of relevant knowledge, the awareness of drug prevention and resistance around the campus was effectively improved, enhancing the ability of many operators to identify and prevent drugs.

Police reminder: The law stipulates that to protect the physical and mental health of minors, all market entities are prohibited from selling e-cigarettes to minors. Any organization or individual should discourage and stop the sale of e-cigarettes to minors. Those who violate the regulations will face serious legal consequences.
