Axis Atomizer Review Video
The Axis atomizer from Gemz looks quite familiar at first glance. The brand Gemz has a stylish name, but it’s still a product from our own Shenzhen, and the quality of Chinese manufacturing is getting better and better. It could have a more nationalistic name.
The Gemz Axis RTA atomizer feels great in hand, with excellent craftsmanship.
The angles, grooves, and chamfers are all smoothly finished, with only one flaw: the drip tip has some minor scratches that might annoy perfectionists.
Upon opening the atomizer, the internal craftsmanship is also acceptable, but the edges of the electrode deck and liquid guide holes are cut neatly but not further treated, which can be a bit sharp.
The atomizer is composed of a drip tip, top cap, liquid filling port with atomization chamber, glass chamber, and electrode deck.

The coil installation deck is unique, featuring two sets of diagonal coil installation methods.
The upper right and lower left are secured by screws applying downward pressure on the heating wire (hereafter referred to as screw type),
Coil installation is very convenient, suitable for both fancy and regular wires, and the two included wires fit perfectly;
The upper left and lower right use a vertical pressure plate structure to secure the heating wire (hereafter referred to as pressure plate type),
This is suitable for reverse-wound heating wires, as the horizontal force makes it more suitable for regular wires; if using fancy wires, you might need to twist the legs 90 degrees.
From the photos, you can see that the width of the coil installation deck for the pressure plate type is wider than that of the screw type,
The two included wires are not wide enough and need to be angled.
Additionally, this coil installation deck may allow for both upward and downward coil installations,
Coils placed closer to the airflow holes may enhance flavor.
However, according to the manufacturer’s manual, it seems to illustrate the upward coil installation method.
The image below is from the official website, suggesting that when using the pressure plate, it can be installed downward?
I’ll have to try it myself when I have time.
In summary, the Gemz Axis RTA atomizer may not have striking features at first glance, but it boasts high aesthetics and exquisite craftsmanship for a sub-ohm tank.
However, after actual use, there are some noticeably reversed experiences, which are quite interesting.
The flavor is above average, and the fineness of the vapor leaves a deep impression.
One regret about the Gemz Axis RTA atomizer is that it doesn’t come with a 510 drip tip for players to try out.
