IQOS 3.0 or Multi Not Responding During First Charge After Delivery
If your IQOS 3.0 or Multi does not respond during the first charge after delivery, don’t panic. Initial activation can take 5–10 minutes, and the first full charge may take about 2 hours.
This is the issue I encounter most often. There’s actually no need to worry. During the first charge, the device may have a 5–10 minute waiting period. Please be patient. After a few minutes, your charging case should light up. The first charging session also takes longer, about two hours. Please wait until all four battery indicator lights stay solid or all LED lights turn off completely.
• Check whether the charging adapter is powered. The Japanese version charging adapter has the same flat plug as the Chinese standard charger, while the Korean/European version charger uses a European round plug. European standard chargers can have higher socket compatibility requirements, so it is recommended to use a new power strip for charging to maintain stable charging.

• After confirming the power supply is working, restore the system by performing a forced reset. Press the button on the IQOS 3.0/Multi device body 5 times. At this point, the far-left and far-right indicator lights on the IQOS 3.0/Multi will turn on, while the two middle lights remain off. Then press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until all indicator lights turn off and wait for the device to restart. After restarting, the battery indicator lights will flash several times and then gradually light up. Done.
