Why Does IQOS Say Made in China?
Some users worry when their IQOS charger says Made in China, but that does not mean it is fake. As global demand grows, manufacturing and component sourcing may expand beyond Malaysia.
Recently, some IQOS users noticed that their IQOS charging case was labeled “Made in China,” and assumed it must be a knockoff. In fact, my guess is that IQOS has become so popular and is now available in many countries that production at the Malaysia factory is no longer sufficient, so some less critical parts are being manufactured in China. Personally, I have great confidence in Chinese manufacturing quality!
