Must-Read: Daily IQOS Usage Tips

Handle the IQOS holder gently and avoid dropping it. Insert the tobacco stick slightly at an angle, remove it carefully after use, and keep the chamber clean to reduce residue and help extend device life.
First, handle the holder gently. Try not to drop, pry, knock, or bump it. Minor bumps usually are not a big deal.

                 1. When inserting the tobacco stick, angle it slightly and insert it gently. Usually there is no need to press down hard on the mouthpiece with your thumb.

                 2. After finishing, lift the cap and remove the tobacco stick. Try to point it downward to reduce carbon residue left inside the chamber. Give it a small, gentle downward shake.

                 3. Close the cap firmly, making sure it is aligned with the power button in the center.

                 4. For cleaning intervals: use the included brush for light buildup, and alcohol swabs for heavier buildup.

                 5. If the surface of the heating blade is dirty, use an alcohol swab to clean the black buildup at the bottom of the blade. This is very important and must be cleaned, especially the lowest part where it touches the white plastic. For other areas, just wipe off whatever residue is easy to remove.
That is enough. The blade will also self-clean at high temperature, and the surface will look much cleaner afterward, so there is no need to worry too much.
Remember: the part at the bottom of the blade that contacts the white plastic must be cleaned thoroughly every time. Then wipe it dry with a dry cotton swab.

                 6. To clean the cap chamber, clean the sides first and then the center, with special attention to the center. Carbon residue collects there, and it is the only part that contacts the blade. To avoid a rough or jagged feel, clean it thoroughly every time; otherwise, each time you pull out a tobacco stick, some carbon buildup may come off with it,
which will shorten the service life.

Use 4-5 alcohol cotton swabs each time. You can buy cotton swabs and alcohol at a pharmacy, and the cost is negligible.
