Kyrgyzstan will ban vaping starting in mid-2025.


President Sadyr Japarov has signed a law banning the import, circulation, and use of e-cigarettes.
After July 1, 2025, anyone caught vaping will be fined $115, while e-cigarette sellers will face fines of $230 to $750.
Imported e-cigarettes will be punishable by two months to one year of corrective labor or a fine of up to $1,390. Importing large quantities of e-cigarettes will carry a fine of up to $2,300 or up to two years in prison.
The law, titled “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts in the Field of Protection of Citizens’ Health,” will take effect on July 1, 2025.
