Google report: vape shops became one of Phoenix, USA's top search trends in 2023

What do lobster rolls, podiatrists, and vape shops have in common? They were among Phoenix’s most popular online search terms this year.

Google released its list of the top trending searches for every major metro area in 2023, and Phoenix delivered some interesting results.

Phoenix’s most searched TV show was The Last of Us, while Taylor Swift and Drake were the most popular search terms in the “tour” category.

Mexico vs. Japan baseball and Louisiana State vs. Florida baseball were also among the top “vs” searches.

The most popular “near me” searches included air quality, lobster rolls, podiatrists, vape shops, and barbershops.

The Tucson area showed similar search behavior, though residents there were mainly looking for Greek food.
