A vape shop in Grand Island has suffered two burglaries in three months

Key point: A Grand Island vape shop was broken into twice in less than three months

According to the Grand Island Police Department, Beyond Vape and Tobacco has suffered two burglaries in less than three months.

In the most recent burglary, police reported an alarm at the store on North Walnut Street on Thursday morning. When officers arrived at the scene, they immediately found footprints in the snow leading away from the site.

Police stated that they found the footprints several blocks away at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Officers quickly located 63-year-old Richard Holmes inside the church.

A small pipe was found. Holmes was arrested for burglary.

No damage was done to the store during this burglary.

Beyond Vape and Tobacco also experienced a burglary in October of this year. The store has only been open for five months.
