An unwelcome Santa: Florida man arrested for burglarizing a vape shop on Christmas Eve
Cape Coral, Florida — Police arrested a man accused of burglarizing a vape shop on Christmas Eve, including stealing some holiday-related merchandise.
At about 8:40 p.m. on Dec. 24, the Cape Coral Police Department responded to an active burglary at King of Vape, located at 1407 Del Prado Blvd South.
Surveillance footage captured 23-year-old Terrence Gene Shepp running around inside the store.
When officers arrived, they found Shepp lying on the ground in front of the shattered glass front door. The investigation showed that Shepp smashed the glass, entered the vape shop, and stole more than $1,500 worth of merchandise, some of it Christmas-related.
The stolen items were plainly visible inside his vehicle parked near the building.
Officers arrested Shepp and transported him to the Lee County Jail.
