Five Falkirk students fall ill after vaping during lunch break
This incident took place on Monday, December 18, at Graeme High School on Carronvale Road. One child was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital following the incident.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “At 1:05pm on Monday, police received a report that five children at a school in Falkirk were unwell. One 13-year-old boy was taken by ambulance to Forth Valley Royal Hospital as a precaution and has since been discharged.
“The school and police are jointly investigating the incident.”
A spokesperson for Falkirk Council added: “We can confirm that students at the school felt unwell on Monday after using a vaping device that did not belong to them. The young people were cared for and supported by staff, and guidance has since been issued to parents and pupils to highlight the wider information around vaping.”
