KT&G Holds 6th Imagination Summit to Seek Social Innovation Solutions
South Korea's KT&G (Korea Tobacco & Ginseng Corporation) held the "6th Imagination Summit" in Seoul, inviting experts and young entrepreneurs to encourage a social entrepreneurship ecosystem.
According to a report by Naver, KT&G hosted the "6th Imagination Summit" on November 7 in Seoul, aimed at activating the social entrepreneurship ecosystem. The summit invited experts and young entrepreneurs from various industries, with about 150 young people aspiring to become social innovation entrepreneurs attending the event.
Since 2018, KT&G has held the "Imagination Summit" annually to seek solutions to the problems faced by society from the perspective of social innovation.
Additionally, KT&G has been operating the "Imagination Startup Camp" since 2017 to find social innovation entrepreneurs, which has won the "Social Enterprise Cultivation Achievement" award from the Minister of Labor in 2019, the "Social Economic Contribution" award from the President in 2021, and the "Job Creation Achievement" award from the Minister of Labor in 2022.
