Two Geneva Vape Shop Employees Charged with Selling Cannabis

Key point: Two employees of a vape shop in Geneva have been charged with selling cannabis.

Geneva police announced on Wednesday that two employees of a Geneva e-cigarette shop have been charged with selling cannabis.

28-year-old Daniel J. Velasquez and 20-year-old Kelly Housley, both residing in the 700 block of Orchard Street in Aurora, were arrested on Tuesday at Buzz Smoke N Vape, located at 722 East State Street.

Geneva police and the North Central Narcotics Task Force discovered over 200 grams of cannabis and 70 cannabis e-liquid cartridges during a search of the shop.

Velasquez is charged with manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance, manufacturing or delivering between 30 to 500 grams of cannabis, and possessing over 100 grams of cannabis.

Housley is charged with two counts of manufacturing or delivering between 30 to 500 grams of cannabis.
